Protect is an internal monologue, it is a message to oneself about self-care and self-love. It isn't wrong to look after number one.

Inspired by the work of Dora Maurer, Simeon built a light sculpture akin to a hall of mirrors for the Protect video artwork. The grid of rotating 'walls' with their reflective and non-reflective surfaces, in conjunction with a focused light source, produce striking forms and pathways through the darkness. Digital post-processing and an CRT monitor were used to produce the final image.
